While the elevator moves, she has time to process what's just happened.
She can't believe this is happening, but it undeniably is. She's finally escaped the only place she knows, and is headed toward who even knows where. For the moment, the dread has faded, and she's left feeling excited. She's spent so long cooped up, gazing at pictures of countless things she couldn't even know were real, and now there's a chance she can go out and see them. Maybe this strange small room will take her to a place where she can finally feel grass for the first time...
And, somehow, this was the result of listening to voices in her head. She had long since dismissed you as some strange mental glitch, or an expression of a particularly bored side of her. The near-instant cracking of the password she had never found disproves that completely. She's regretting not being more welcoming to you before, and worries that her default tiny frown might have put you off.
